The au pair experience can be one of the best experiences in your life, but it can also be tough if you aren’t well prepared. I’m here to help au pairs – and anyone interested in being an au pair – learn all about the au pair experience.
I worked for one and a half years as an au pair in Germany and enjoyed it immensely. I made many long lasting friendships, experienced life in Europe first hand, and learned German better than I would have in a classroom. I only wish more information about the job had been available before I went, as I pretty much had to fumble my way through the job.
With this website and my eBook, The Girl’s Guide to Being an Au Pair, I hope to help others make the most out of their au pair experience.
